What we actually use
- Authentication session storage — the sign-in token issued by our authentication provider is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Strictly necessary.
- Security and session technologies — short-lived tokens used to verify requests and refresh your session. Strictly necessary.
- Workflow preference storage — the Analyse Thread page keeps your in-progress analysis reference in local storage so a refresh does not lose your results. Strictly necessary for the feature you requested.
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies.
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or profiling.
- No third-party social media pixels.
Because no optional cookies are set, we do not show an accept-all banner. Showing one would be misleading.
If optional cookies are added later
- A consent banner will appear with Accept optional cookies, Reject optional cookies and Manage preferences.
- Optional cookies will default to off and will not be set before consent is given.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the same preferences control.
